How can I count duplicate shapes in my PDF drawing efficiently?

1. Open Your Drawing:

Open a PDF drawing that contains the shapes you need to count.

2. Zoom In:

Zoom into the drawing to locate a clear instance of the shape you want to search for.

Tip: Select a shape with minimal interference for more accurate results.

3. Access Search Shape:

  • Click the "Search Shape" button under the "Search" tab.
  • Box the target shape carefully, avoiding redundant elements.

4. Refine Selection:

  • In the “Search Shape” pop-up window, review the boxed shape:
  • If incorrect, click "Reselect" to adjust the selection.

5. Set Options:

  • Enable "Filter by Color" if the shapes are color-dependent.
  • Initiate Search: Click "Search" and wait for results. Matches will be categorized by similarity.
  • Attention: Large pages may take longer to process.

6. Review Results:

  • Matches are highlighted in green (unchecked) and red (checked) on the drawing.
  • Click on individual results or use "Select All" to mark multiple results.

7. Mark Checked Shapes:

  • Click "Mark Checked" to open the "Create Count Comment" window.
