Click the "Comment Category" option, then enter a name for the category and choose a color. This helps you differentiate between different types of measurement marks more clearly.
If there’s a lot of measurement data and things appear confusing, you can set the show or hide status of the categories. This allows you to focus on specific types of annotations, making the drawing more streamlined and easier to understand.
Once your categories are set, you can begin your measurements. Select the corresponding category before measuring, and the measurement data will automatically be categorized under it, displaying in the pre-set color.
After completing your measurements, use the "Tabulate" function. It will automatically summarize all the data by category, making it easy to review.
To view a specific category, simply select it, and the summarized data will appear. You can then copy and export the data to Excel with one click, making it simple to compile into bills of quantities.
