Extract tables from drawings with one click!
PDF files exist in a variety of tables, tender documents in the bill of quantities table, highway drawings in the table of quantities, chemical pipeline materials table, there are a variety of engineering materials table, equipment tables and so on.
Many users expect to be able to extract the table data into excel, which is convenient for summarizing and organizing data and calculating statistics.
Although there are some tools on the market that can extract tables, they are only effective for simple tables, and there are often errors in merging rows and columns on complex tables, and it is even more difficult to extract tables without table lines such as the table of chemical materials.
In order to help users solve these work problems, PDFBlueprint team worked day and night to overcome a series of technical challenges to provide the function of extracting tables. The feature has the following characteristics:

Here's how to use the Extract Table function!
1. First of all, make sure your computer has installed PDFBlueprint, if not yet installed, please download the installation package from the official website and install it.

2. Opens a drawing containing tables in PDF format.
3. Locate the table to be extracted and zoom the drawing to the appropriate size (press Ctrl and slide the wheel to zoom, or use the window "Zoom" function) so that the table to be extracted is clearly displayed.
4. Click on the "OCR" button first, then click on the "Extract Table" Function button below (or press the shortcut key E) to extract the table status.

After the box is selected, the Extract Table dialog box pops up, in which you can set the Export Mode, Save Path and whether to open the file after extraction, etc., according to their own needs after the completion of the settings, click the "Extract" button to start extracting the table instantly!
7. If "Open File After Extraction" is checked, the generated Excel will be opened after the extraction is completed.
Notes:
a. The software supports the use of "Extract Table" function in a smaller view, but in order to ensure the accuracy of the boundaries of the boxed table, it is recommended that the table to be extracted be scaled to the appropriate size in order to improve the accuracy of the table extraction.
b. When selecting a table, you need to select the table completely, incomplete tables will not be recognized.
c. For the table with complete table lines, if the content outside the table lines is checked during box selection, only the content of the table lines will be extracted by default, and the content outside the table lines will not be extracted.
d. For tables without table lines or tables with incomplete table lines, if the contents outside the table lines are checked in the box, all the contents will be extracted by default.
e. When multiple extraction, you can choose to "Export to a new sheet of an existing Excel" or "Append to the first sheet of an existing Excel", and uncheck the box "Open File After Extraction ", so you can extract multiple tables to an Excel!
f. "Extract Table" function default shortcut key for E, you can also customize the shortcut key in the shortcut key settings.
e. The current recognition language only supports English and Simplified Chinese, other languages are not supported for the time being.
