Auto-increment Numbering with "Sequence" function

1. First of all, make sure your computer has installed PDFBlueprint, if not yet installed, please download the installation package from the official website and install it.

2. Open a drawing in PDF format.

3. Clicking the "Sequence" button will default you to the "Setting" tab.

3.1 According to the pop-up window to enter the content of the sequence (enter the starting number, number of prefix or suffix).

3.2 Set the Border Shape.

3.3 Set the Leadline Style.

Note:

a. The starting number must be an integer greater than or equal to 1.

b. The prefix or suffix can be entered up to 20 characters, or no input.

4. Click on the "Start" button, and then will return to the PDF interface.

4.1 If you set the Leadline Style for the "None", then click on the drawing directly need to be sequenced position, you can generate the sequence, continue to click on the sequence of sequences automatically increase.

4.2 If you set the Leadline Style for the "Line", you need to click on the location of the sequence to point to, and then click on the location of the sequence to generate the sequence with the lead.

Note:

a. Sequence function has memory for options.

b. In the process of doing the sequence, you can press SPACE bar directly switch the Border Shape.

5. When the Sequence is complete, the sequece records can be exported.

5.1 Click the "Sequence" button, click the "Export" tab, according to the pop-up window requirements to set the Export Mode and Export Path.

5.2 When the Export Mode select "Export to a new Excel file", it will be the default desktop in the computer to create a new name of "SequenceData.xls" Excel. In addition, the software also supports saving to the existing Excel file in the new sheet.

5.3 Click the "Export" button to export the sequence data, if you check the box "Open File After Export", then "Numbered Data.xls" will be automatically opened.

Note:

a. In order to facilitate the continuation of the summary and statistics, the number export function exports the information contained in the PDF Bookmarks, Page Index, Border Shape, and Sequence.

b. Among them, bookmarks and page numbers are used to associate different diagrams, pipeline number or used to distinguish between different sub-parts of the project; border forms can be used to distinguish between different types of components.


Tips for this function:

a. Hold down shortcut Ctrl + D can directly start the Sequence function, you can also modify the shortcut in the shortcuts settings.

b. In the process of doing the sequence, the sequence can adjust the font size, hold down the Shift + scroll mouse wheel can adjust the size. And press the SPACE bar can switch the Border Shape.

c. After the completion of the sequence marking, click on the marking appears a dotted line box, click on the little pen symbol in the upper right corner to modify the text color, font size, text content, and line width. Or click on the trash can symbol to delete.

d. The content of the sequence can be used "Find" - "Text Added by PDFBlueprint" function to find.

e. If you want the sequence to be the same size, you can set a default font size in the Setting - Font Size - Manual function.
