PDF drawings are full of components that need to be counted, such as switches, lights, fire fixtures, industrial equipments, piles, anchors, etc.
This tutorial teaches you to count in PDFBlueprint.
1. First of all, make sure your computer has installed PDFBlueprint.
If not yet installed, please download the installation package from the official website and install it.

2. Open a drawing in PDF format that needs to be counted.
3. Click the "Measure" button. In the "Measure" panel, click the "Count" function.
4. In the pop-up window, select the "Count Markup Color" and "Count Markup Shape". Then click the "OK" button to return to the PDF interface.
5. Find the area you want to count. Click the left button to mark the area. Hold down the Shift key and slide the mouse wheel to adjust the size of the mark. Click the right button to end the count.
6. When marking is complete, move the mouse pointer over the markers and the number of markers will be displayed. Click on the markers, the same group of markers will be highlighted. Drag the white control point to move the placement of individual markers.
7. Delete Count Markers
7.1 Delete individual count markers: Left click to select the count marker, right click to delete individual count marker.
7.2 Delete all count annotations: Click on the markers and then click on the delete button of the trash can symbol in the upper right corner to delete all count markers in this group.
8. Modify Count Marker Properties: Click on the markers and then click on the small pen symbol button in the upper right corner to modify count marker properties.
9. When all counts are complete, you can view the number of counts in the drawing in the "Tabulate" pop-up window.
