1. Access Auto Create Bookmarks:
- Click the Auto Create Bookmarks button.
2. There are three ways to access this feature:
- Above the Bookmarks Bar.
- In the Middle of the Bookmarks Bar (visible only if no existing bookmarks exist).
- Under the OCR Function.
3. Select Pages to Bookmark:
- In the pop-up window, choose the pages for which bookmarks should be created:
- Default: All pages in the PDF.
- Custom: Select specific pages or a range of pages.
4. Box the Bookmark Content:
- Click Select to define the area for bookmarks.
- Use the mouse to draw a box around the text or content that should be used as the bookmark name.
- Adjust the box size as needed:
- Tip 1: Make the box large enough to capture content of varying lengths.
- Tip 2: Avoid including irrelevant information to improve recognition accuracy.
5. Review Recognition Results:
- After boxing, PDFBlueprint will automatically recognize the selected area.
- The recognition results will appear in a pop-up window.
- Click each result to locate and verify its content on the original page.
- Edit Recognition Results (if needed):
- Modify Results: Double-click any result to edit it manually.
- Re-recognize Pages: Right-click and select Re-recognize Selected Pages to redraw the boxed area.
- Delete Results: Right-click and select Delete to exclude a page from bookmarks.
6. Create Bookmarks:
- Click Create Bookmarks to finalize.
- If bookmarks already exist, choose between:
- Overwrite: Replace existing bookmarks with new ones.
- Append: Add new bookmarks below the existing ones.
