1. Quick Content Location
- Use the Text Search feature in CAD Reader to locate content quickly.
- Search for common elements in the drawing, such as "0" or "1".
- This will instantly help you locate visible drawing content.
2.Model/Layout Switching
- Check the bottom-left corner of the software window for the Model and Layout tabs.
- Click to switch between them—you might uncover hidden or unexpected content.
3. External References (Xrefs)
- External references (Xrefs) improve collaboration and design quality by linking shared elements like title blocks, grids, notes, and main content.
- Use the External Reference Management feature to link these elements as suggested by the file name.
- Alternatively, place all the documents and drawings in the same folder—the software will load and display the complete content automatically.
4. Update Graphics Card Driver
- If all drawings display as a blank white or black screen, try this:
- Click on“About” in the software and switch the graphics card mode.
- If it doesn’t work, update your graphics card driver.
5. Steps to update your graphics card driver:
- Check your computer’s graphics card model.
- Visit the manufacturer’s official website and download the corresponding driver.
- Install the updated driver, and the issue should be resolved.
