How to transfer .dwg/.dxf/.pdf drawings from computers to mobile phones and open with CAD Reader

There are a variety of ways we can transfer .dwg/.dxf/.pdf drawings to our mobile phone. Here are a few common ways to do this:

1.By social application. For example, WhatsApp

①.Log in your WhatsApp on computer, and send the drawing to someone.

②.Log in your WhatsApp on the mobile phone, find the one whom you send the drawing to and you can see the drawing.

③.Click on the drawing and open with CAD Reader.

If you are unable to select CADReader to open the file, you can long-press the drawing you wish to open. In WhatsApp, three dots will appear in the top right corner. Tap on them, and a "Share" option will appear. From there, you can choose to open the file with CADReader.


2.By Email. For example, Gmail

①.Log in your Gmail on the computer, and send the drawing as an attachment to other emails.

②.Log in your Gmail on the mobile phone, and open the SENT file, find the one which has the drawing.

③.Click on the attachment, and the drawing will be directly opened with CAD Reader.

3.By online cloud storage service. For example, Google Drive.

①.Log in your Google Drive on the computer and upload your drawing to Google Drive.

②.Log in your Google Drive on mobile phone, and find your drawing file.

③.Click on the drawing, you will see that it pops out “This file type is unsupported, open with”. Then we click on the “open with” and choose CAD Reader as the open option.
