How to Find & Open a CAD file on your phone?（in WhatsAPP/email or device）

How do we open and view AutoCAD drawings when we receive them on our mobile phones at construction sites or outdoors?

1.CAD drawings in WhatsApp

Select the dwg/PDF file in WhatsApp and choose CADReader to easily open the drawing for viewing, measuring, and annotating

If you cannot find CADReader, long press the drawing in WhatsApp, click on the three small dots that appear in the upper right corner, select "Share", and then you can find CADReader

2. CAD files in the email

Log in to your email, open the email, find the DWG/PDF drawing, select CADReader, and you can easily open the drawing for viewing, measuring, and even annotating photos

3. Local drawings on mobile phones

Do you want to view the CAD files that have been saved locally on your phone after a period of time?

No need to spend a lot of time searching through past chat records.

The “Recent” in CADReader will record the most recently viewed drawings.

Click on the "Magnifier" icon in the bottom right corner to quickly search and open the desired file

If there are many drawings recently opened and they are no longer in the list,

don't worry, you can also directly view the local files

Go to the 'download' folder in your local folder to find drawings in dwg/PDF/dxf format.

You can even search for the file name directly in the upper right corner to quickly find them.
