Opening Drawings

1️⃣ Supports DWG, DXF, and PDF drawings.

2️⃣ Opening compressed files: Click target file → Open with another application → Extract → Open in CAD Reader.

3️⃣ Loading referenced drawings with external references:

① Place the referenced drawing and the current drawing in the same folder, then reopen to load the reference.

② If the referenced drawing and the current drawing are received in the same directory, they will be loaded automatically.

Saving Drawings

1️⃣ Recent: Stores recently opened drawings for easy access.

2️⃣ Favorites: Stores drawings received via WhatsApp, mail, and converted from PDF to CAD.

3️⃣ Storage: Browse and open locally stored drawings on your device.

2. Feature Tutorials

📕 Annotation Tools: Add shapes, lines, and text annotations to drawings

1. Line: Draw straight lines on the drawing.
2. Rectangle: Drag to create a rectangular annotation.
3. Ellipse: Drag to create an elliptical annotation.
4. Freehand Line: Draw any freeform lines on the drawing.
5. Text: Add text annotations wherever needed.
6. Audio Recording: Record voice notes related to the annotation.

🔴 Note:

• Click shape annotations (rectangle, ellipse) and text annotations to move, delete, or modify color and size.
• Click line annotations (freehand line, straight line) to move, delete, or change color.

📗 Measurement Tools: Measure length, area, angles, arc length, etc.

1. Length: Measure the length of any line.
2. Continuous: Measure the total length of connected straight and curved lines.
3. Area: Measure the area of polygons (including arcs). Optionally measure the side area after measuring the base area.
4. Angle: Measure the angle between two intersecting or non-intersecting lines.
5. Arc Length: Measure the length of arcs.
6. Radius: Measure the radius of circles.
7. Coordinates: Measure the coordinates of any point on the drawing.
8. Scale: Confirm the scale before measuring length and area.

• Click on length, area, or coordinate annotations to modify color or delete the annotation.

⚙ Annotation Settings: Modify annotation color and measurement units

1. Color Settings: Change annotation color, background color, and base drawing color.
2. Unit Settings: Display annotations using actual values or in mm/m².

📷 Photo Tools: Add photo annotations to drawings

1. Take Photo: Use the phone’s camera to take a photo and add it as an annotation.
2. Select from Album: Choose a locally stored image.
3. Watermark Camera: Use CAD Reader's watermark camera to take photos and annotate them.
4. Sharing: Double-click or single-click a photo to share it separately.

📜 Layer Management Tools: View and manage layers

1. View all layers in the drawing.
2. click to hide layers.

Text Search

1. Find elements containing specific text and count occurrences.

Screen Rotation, Full View, Hide Annotations, Clear Annotations, Regeneration

1. Screen Rotation: Switch between landscape and portrait viewing modes.
2. Full View: Display the entire drawing within the current window.
3. Hide Annotations: Hide all added annotations to view only the drawing.
4. Clear Annotations: Remove all existing annotations.
5. Export: Export in KKF format to include both drawings and annotations.

Multiple Drawings, Line Width Display, Full Screen, Model/Layout Switching, PDF to CAD

1. Multiple Drawings: Quickly switch between drawings or use split-screen mode to view two drawings simultaneously.
2. Line Width Display: Display polyline thickness.
3. Full View: Display the entire drawing within the current window.
